Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru is rumored to be in critical condition after her motorcade was involved in a deadly road accident along Thika Road.

The accident is said to have occurred at around 12 noon when her motorcade was heading towards Nairobi CBD. An eyewitness near the scene recalled how one car in the motorcade suddenly lost control and rammed in the rest of the ongoing cars.

It has been established that the Governor sustained minor injuries on the neck and face and was immediately rushed to Nairobi hospital for urgent medical care.

2 of the driver, unfortunately, succumbed on the spot and they have been taken to Chiromo mortuary.

investigations into the deadly accident have been commenced.
